The reasons behind bullying
The reasons behind bullying
A+   A-

"Bullying is not a reflection of the victim's character, but rather a sign of the bully's lack of character." That is right, but the question is, why do we always talk about the victim of bullying? Why don’t we ever ask ourselves why someone wants to bully others. We will be discussing and explaining the bully's point of view. A victim of bullying is innocent, but why does a bully bully others? Bullying happens due to low self-esteem and self-hate, so one of the most common reasons someone bullies is that they were bullied in the past. Getting bullied destroys their self-esteem and makes them hate themselves, and that is why it is a very common reason for bullying.

Not having enough care from their parents or not having friends is another reason for bullying. It is a reason for bullying because every one of us needs love and care. So, if a child is an orphan far away from his parents, if his parents hit them, or do not give them enough care, the kid may become a bully. Not having friends is also a problem because we all need love and care and lacking this from friends will get us to bully too. You may be thinking why not having enough care and love can turn someone into a bully. Well, it is because they'll feel lonely and worthless, so they will bully others to get that feeling.

Getting low grades is another reason for bullying because we see other people getting high grades, so we bully them and call them nerds to prove to ourselves that we are better than them. Money issues in families can cause bullying too. Since it makes the bully feel below others and neglected, they start to bully for the feeling of equality among all.

Before helping the victims of bullying, we should take a look at the bully and help them. Instead of punishing them, let's listen to them and help them change for the better.
