Have we ever paused and thought of the things we have done to our earth: the littering, the technology, and the corruption? There is something wrong with us. What is earth to us? What are we to earth? Do you think we really matter? Think again. A lot of environmental events are happening and we can’t stop them. Sometimes we think that we are so superior, to the point where we think that we are earth, but no. We are not. Earth is so much more magnificent than us. Phases have gone; phases will come; and humans are just another phase. We might be an important phase, but not because of our inventions, but because of the so many creative ways we have devised to ruin the earth. When you think about planet earth, don’t think of it as an ‘idea’ conceived by men. It was there long before humans started invading it. Let us think for a second. They say Physics is life; it is. But friction, gravity, forces and so many more, weren’t created; they were merely discovered. Yes, we are brilliant; in the end we have invented formulas, technology, medicines, electricity and millions of other things, but the base is purely earth. It has given us life through oxygen, nutrients, adventures, and education. We take both, life and earth for granted. How many articles have we read about global warming? Is there any action taking place? Scantily. They say ‘it’s not up to me, I’m only one person’. What you, people, are not getting is that IT STARTS WITH YOU. Stop understating the issues. If our ancestors were watching us right now, they would be devastated. Earth doesn’t care about us. You are born, and BOOM. Just like that you drop dead. Did the sun stop rising? Did the birds stop singing? Did the factories stop working? Are you realizing how negligible we are to earth? Yet here we are treating it as a slave. Next time, when you consider tormenting our planet, think about the things it has been through: the wars, the hunger, the poverty, the natural disasters and even the beginning of the human race. We are a disgrace compared to earth. Hundreds and thousands of campaigns are helping to save our planet: Trees for Cities, Surfers Against Sewage, and Ice Bridge. But if we are not convinced that the planet needs help, then we are going nowhere. Exquisite! That’s the definition of earth. If we continue down the path we are going now, beauty will no longer describe this world. When you anticipate saving the globe, don’t think about what is beneficial for earth, think about your feelings while you are gazing upon the seas, the mountains, the valleys, the sunrise, and the sunset; then imagine your fondness minus those ravishing looks. Earth is so compact, but the amount of wonders in it is profuse. Humans don’t know much about history; the only thing they probably know is the beginning and the ending of World War I and World War II; poor you! If you suppose that those two were the harshest things that have passed by earth, you are caught mistaken. The world is 4.5 billion years old. Do you think a couple of 50 and 60 year olds are going to matter to it? Look at the planet from the space; you will see three colors: blue, green and white. Blue for the massive oceans and seas, which is only discovered by five percent; we hear about new findings every day. Green, kind of ironic, is for the lands. Lands that heroes have died on, lands that behold power and wisdom, lands that have manufactured extraordinary men and women. White is the home of an overabundant necessity; water. Clouds shed tons of tears pouring our way. They are grieving. Earth will end us before we end it.
